Lumigent and Sybase Expand Partnership
Sybase to resell complete Lumigent solution suite worldwide
ACTON, MA – March 31, 2008 – Lumigent Technologies, Inc. today announced that Sybase and Lumigent have expanded their existing agreement, providing Sybase the right to distribute the entire Lumigent product line. Under the previous agreement, Sybase distributed a version of Lumigent Audit DB specific to auditing the Sybase® Adaptive Server® Enterprise (ASE) database.
“Our customers are asking us to deliver application security and data auditing solutions that cover their requirements across a wide variety of functions and platforms,” said Brian Vink, Vice President Product Marketing at Sybase. “Through our expanded partnership with Lumigent, Sybase is able to provide its customers with a comprehensive suite of options to address their needs in data governance, risk and compliance.”
Under the terms of the new agreement Sybase is able to market the full cross-platform version of Audit DB. Sybase customers can now audit applications based upon MS SQL, DB2, and Oracle and create a unified audit repository on Sybase ASE. Sybase can also offer Lumigent’s solutions for PCI, SOX and HIPAA compliance, as well as Lumigent’s Assessment product for continuous vulnerability scanning.
